Deanna Staley

A routine does work for me--Mondays are our big cleaning day. bathrooms, kitchen, vacuum, all floors washed (that is a BIGGER job now that we have the wood floors!!) Doesn't take a LONG time to do, but it is longer than it used to be as it has to be vacuumed first, then washed! I wash it with a microfiber mop so far. One of my friends had one like it, and the laminate floors, and she said it dulled the finish (in her eyes), she had different kind of laminate, shiny, not like ours which is dull to begin with! So, I don't think I'll have that problem! Tuesdays are just straighten, Wednesday we "hit a room" of the month for about 20-30 minutes, Wedneday the master bath gets "cleaned" again--we don't use the other bathroom unless guests are here00if we get guests, then that room gets swipped up after they leave, so I know it's ok for the next guests. I usually try to do any shopping on Wednesday Afternnoon because Earl is gone for his lesson then. Gives me a chance to put things away before he gets home. (Monday I run out if we need milk)
Thursday-laundry and straighten, Friday--anything that NEEDS to be done--if nothing needs done, than we hit the room of the month again--(clean drawers, closets, walls--whatever needs done in that particular room! I have a list for each room, but don't dig it out much, as we've been doing this for so long, it's kind of easy now!! Good luck, I hope you find something that works for you.
