Just finished my CT update. There wasn't a whole lot to report in that I haven't accomplished much on the design front this week. I didn't even bother to give them an updated preview of the kit I've been working on.
Today, I'll finish up floors which means I'll wash that kitchen floor. And I'll finish up the dusting in here--I still need to do the other desk, two credenzas, my computer desk, and a couple of filing cabinets. This is the serious as a heartbeat kind of dusting with a wet rag and soapy water. Most of the room is way too dusty for any kind of feeling of achievement after feather dusting.
I have come up with a different plan on the sorting of clothes in the guest room. I am going to put out 4 empty boxes, labeled "winter clothes, small", "winter clothes, large", "summer clothes, small", and "summer clothes, large". Then I'll need two more containers of some sort for trash and donations. Then I plan on just digging in on what's on the beds first. The first little bit of this will be a challenge as I may have to balance some boxes on my head--no room to put them on the bed. But, once I get going, I think it will be a better approach than dumping a bunch of boxes of stuff on the bed and then trying to pick through it.
My round robin thing is working somewhat. Although my focus yesterday was washing floors and the guest room, I did get some things done in other rooms. And I did manage to fight my way through a lot of desk-related chores as well as the regulars--deleting e-mail, unzipping files, and advertising. So, I'm going to give that another shot today.
I could use your prayers today, pray-ers. I am tired and worn. I have been dealing with battles on every hand and doing so pretty much daily for quite a while now. At the moment, I just want a victory SOMEWHERE. It is obvious this is also being reflected in my lack of design output which I cannot afford to allow to continue. So, please pray along these lines.
