In just a minute, I'm going to go forage in the fridge for food. I'm either going to make myself some french toast or I'm going to eat one of about a dozen of those frozen Chimichangas I have hanging around in the freezer. I probably should do the french toast as I have some bread that is kind of beyond the pale and I already bought new bread to replace it. I tried to eat a sandwich with the older stuff the other day and it just kept crumbling around my sandwich ingredients. Yeah, kinda dry. I used a couple of slices last night to make a grilled cheese sandwich. That worked better--I guess the melted cheese helped with the crumbiness.
"The hurrier I go, the behinder I get". Ever heard that one. That's an old Pennsylvania Dutch saying and I am the poster child for it today. Remember that "school" kit I was working on? Well, I'm in a hurry to get that in the store. Some kids have already done the back to school thing. DGS1 does it next week. I need to get that kit up! So, I finished up the preview and sent my saved copy off to my assistant to do the wrappers. Yeah, I did. Kinda. I had saved a websized .jpg to show the CT. However, somehow, I failed to update the full-sized .psd preview. Imagine my surprise when I got back a perfectly "wrapped" preview with only about 10 elements on it. Totally my fault. I screwed up and I have to take responsibility for that. Now I am rebuilding the preview. Jeez.......... NOT the way I wanted to spend my day! My be-hind has bruises, I've kicked myself so much, LOL. And, once I get my working preview rebuilt, I'll have to do two wrapped previews!
So what have I done besides starting to rebuild that preview? Well, I've wiped down the bathroom counter. I gathered up an armload of magazines and books to discard and pack away. I've carried in more books from the garage. The dogs had some food left in their bowls last night so I didn't feed them. But, those bowls were empty when I got up this morning, so I've refilled them. I now have two boxes of books that are ready to be carried off to somewhere--one to storage and one to give away. I THINK I am on the very last book box in the garage. I have to double check that. Now the big question is what will I do with all the copy paper boxes I've unpacked? I love packing things in those boxes because they stack so nicely. But, if the things I am packing are books, I can't carry them without risking a hernia. So what DO I do with those boxes? I've also put away a bunch of hanging clothes from my "laundry area". My laundry area is so small it wouldn't make a halfway decent closet. So, there's a hook on the outside of my bedroom door and it's full of clean hanging clothes. Got to get the rest of those put away. And, I finally got enough useless crapola off my hard drive to be outta the red! Yay me!
So, anyway, as you can see, I'm still tackling small jobs around the house. Trying to make things a little cleaner and neater as I go. I guess next up, after I eat, will be me, huffing and puffing, to move boxes. I have at least 3 to move to somewhere.
Oh, I meant to tell you........ While I was at Costco the other day, I bought some of their housebrand (Kirkland) snack bars. Those things are goooooo-oooood. They come in two varieties, fruit and nut. Both are very tasty and less expensive than name brand Granola bars. If you're a Costco member, check them out. I think you'll like them.
Well time to go find food and get back to this preview-making I'm currently avoiding.
