I can't remember whether I told you. I wore a pair of my jeans the other day. I had 3-4 inches of extra fabric in both legs!
Tuesday evening, before I went tearing off to my clients, I was going all through the house looking for my car keys. I didn't find them but I did find the spare set. I've been using the spare set ever since and praying most diligently for God to show me where my regular set was. Well, tonight He did. They're hanging on the key board. When I had a functional garage, I had a board to hold the car keys installed right inside the door to the kitchen. Howver, we all know I haven't been able to park in the garage in forever. So, the keys end up in my pockets, in my bathroom, on the dining room table, on my desk, you name it. Where they don't end up is on the key board inside the kitchen door. BUT, somehow this time they did and I the idea of looking for them there never crossed my mind.
I've lost my new cell phone. I had it this afternoon. I've dug around on my desk. I've looked in the bedroom where I recall using it last. I've looked in the kitchen. I can't find it. I know exactly where my old broken phone is--it's charging right in front of me so that when I figure out what I've done with my new phone, I can begin transferring the numbers over. I know where Joe's old phone is. It's on the credenza behind me. What I don't know is where the FUNCTIONAL cell phone is. And, to make matters even more fun, I discovered the land line phone has no charge left on it so it's charging. This is one way to have a quiet evening, though certainly not something I planned!!!!!!!
I am really becoming exasperated with myself, doing this sort of thing.
Jennifer had a really good idea. She suggested perhaps I need to put a key board inside the front door since that is how I come and go these days. Now, if only I had one..........
Do you remember I needed to order new running shoes? I had shopped every possible internet site that I could find. No matter what, I couldn't find a pair with good cushioning in the price range I wanted to pay. Finally, I found some on Amazon and they were priced the best I'd seen anywhere. But still I held off, hoping to get something cheaper. So, tonight, I went on Amazon, looking for a key board. Found one for $8 that I like. Then I was surprised to find my shoes were no longer in my shopping cart there. Seems that while I hesitated, they sold out. I lost them! However, I shopped a while longer and found a pair for $3 less. They're in this really bright shade of hot pink and yellow on white, but I can adjust to that, right????? Anyway, before I lose these too, I ordered them.
I quit for tonight. Goodnight.
